Put simply, Oak Grove would not have reached the Open Division final if not for LaCotti. The Evergreen Valley transfer seemed to catch everything thrown his way, displaying not only great hands and precise routes, but determination to make a play. LaCotti caught 51 passes for 936 yards and scored 14 touchdowns, including seven in the playoffs. He also blocked five kicks and had two kick returns for scores.
