For the third year in a row, Vye led Oak Grove to a CCS final, this time with the green light to air it out, completing 104 of 174 passes for 1,672 yards. But in an 11-victory season, Vye's signature performance came in defeat. In the Open Division final, with a broken collarbone on his non-throwing shoulder, Vye passed for 215 yards and three touchdowns while nearly rallying the Eagles to victory.
