Mercury News Comments:
2008
Carr excelled on both sides of the ball for the Eagles and was named the most valuable offensive back in the Mount Hamilton Division. A ballhawk from his free-safety position, he had four interceptions and 50 tackles, many of the touchdown-saving variety. On offense, Carr was the main receiving threat with 45 catches for 605 yards and seven touchdowns. A dangerous return man, he scored 10 total touchdowns.

2007
If the CCS championship had a turning point, it came when Carr returned a second-quarter punt 52 yards to set up the touchdown that ignited a 32-point Oak Grove run. The free safety had five interceptions - he has 13 in two years - and 94 tackles. Carr also knocked down 19 passes, recovered five fumbles and scored on interception, fumble and punt returns.
