Mercury News Comments:
2008
Jensen had another big season, running the Mustangs' complex spread offense with intelligence. His strong and accurate arm kept the chains moving as Gilroy relied on the pass almost exclusively. He completed 64 percent of his passes (203 of 318) for 3,210 yards and 29 touchdowns, with 17 interceptions.
2007
In his first season as a starter, Jensen passed for 4,323 yards - the most in Northern California history - and led Gilroy to its first Central Coast Section championship game. Jensen set CCS passing records for season attempts (474) and completions (299), and yards in a game (486). He also tied a season county mark with 41 touchdown passes and tied a single-game CCs mark with eight.
