The co-most valuable defensive back in the Mount Hamilton Division was an energetic run stopper. "Michael is a student of the game who has great football instincts," Coach Mike Carrozzo said. "He is very good at reading the run and filling the gap quickly." Santini averaged 13.1 tackles per game and had 144 on the season.
