The cornerback tied for the CCS lead with eight interceptions and also broke up 12 passes and made 56 tackles. Also a standout running back, Gibson had 1,150 rushing yards, 343 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while leading Wilcox to the Division II semifinals.
