Mercury News Comments:
2011
An athletic linebacker who made over 100 tackles for the second straight year, Musika is a two-time Mercury News first-team selection. He twice had 15 solo tackles and was in on 38 tackles over a two-game stretch early in the season. "He's a difference-maker", coach Kelly King said. "He really flies to the ball."

2010
The latest star from the Milpitas Musika clan, an athletic family with nine children, Maki was the Trojans' featured linebacker. He totaled 114 tackles with four sacks despite missing three games because of illness. Milpitas gave up only 27 points in three playoff games. Musika made key contributions in the championship game against San Benito, helping hold the Haybalers to 150 yards of offense. Musika was named the co-junior of the year in the De Anza Division.
