Mercury News Comments:
2010
A two-time Mercury News first team selection, Olugbode was a standout on both sides of the ball. He rushed for 1,420 yards, scored 23 touchdowns and, as a linebacker, was Bellarmine's second-leading tackler. Kris' brother Kyle was the 2009 Mercury News player of the year.

2009
The younger brother of Kyle, the Mercury News player of the year, Kristoffer was a jack of all trades for the Bells with game-breaking speed on offense and hard-nosed presence on defense. Olugbode rushed for 505 yards and six touchdowns and caught 13 passes for 323 yards and another score. He scored nine total touchdowns, but his biggest impact was at linebacker, where Olugbode led the Bells with 95 tackles and two interceptions. He blocked two kicks, a field goal attempt in the state final and an extra-point try against Mitty.
